Typical outline of the Kasbah

Oriental elements

The complex is modelled on the typical structure of the casbah (citadel) in southern Morocco. The “casbah“ is dotted with mature palm trees, softening the effect of the walls. A comfortable Berber tent in the garden is a real invitation to lounge and chat, a popular custom in the Middle East. In the entrance area, next to the seat, water splashes from the cascade.

The complex has been designed to ensure that wheelchair users can also relax and feel at home.

Stable, Ecological, Durable

Traditional from natural materials

The architecture of the hotel reflects local traditions and the materials used in its construction were sourced entirely from the local area. Accordingly, the walls are built from adobe bricks and the stairs from palm trunks. The entire building complex was hand built, with a total of around 100 craftsmen from throughout the Vallée du Drâa region contributing their skills and creativity.
